How to make watches “Africa” in the technique of fusing.
For the manufacture of watches you will need the following tools and materials:
1. Glass Spectrum 96 system
2. Glass Cutter.
3. Nippers.
4. The Breaker.
5. Glue Moment-crystal.
6. Drill on the glass.
7. Drill.
8. Frit.
9. Fritts book.
10. Furnace for fusing.
I take a background light glass, mark the fields and the middle, drill a glass drill hole for the mechanism, I add water, I cut the fillets into pieces – pieces for drawing.
The principle of drawing is a mosaic. All pieces are stuck with glue.
I make a mosaic frame, completely spontaneously, just to be beautifully combined in color.
The frame is ready, I spread out the figures from the thin stripes of the glass, then I do a sketch of the figures.
I proceed to the figures.
First I put them on a sketch, then I transfer it to the glass, I grab it all with glue.
At work, a frit is used – it is a glass crumb, it can be of different fractions. Sold ready and you can do yourself.
Sometimes frit is needed very small, when it is not at hand, you can do it yourself, for this, I fill it with pieces of glass and mechanically begin to chop. Then I sift through a sieve and get the right fraction.
I poured into the right places.
Now it’s time to bake the clock.
For baking and full cooling leave almost a day, the size of the clock is large and therefore opening ahead of time, we run the risk.
