Flipping through a children’s book about flowers, my mind dwelt on this illustration

And I wanted to continue the cycle of master classes “Flowers” in the technique of “flood window”.

A sheet of glass is placed on the drawing. The picture is transferred to the surface by a contour. Today, I will work with a gray outline. Why? I just wanted to. Let’s see what happens.
I have a large illustration, but the glass is small. We move the glass, choose the most successful fragment of the picture

I will start the outline with colors. Since the daisy petals are narrow, we will not completely outline them, the paint simply will not “fill” into such “slits”. Of course, you can work with a needle, but the work process will be delayed, and there will be no pleasure from the process. Let’s circle only the oval of our daisies.

From the top right, I’ll add more flowers, because, in my opinion, it’s empty here

I drew the stems of daisies right away with a stained-glass paint of green color. I have the color olive.

Then we draw a circle of leaves. Let’s open the “third” eye and draw more leaves.

Transfer the glass to a white sheet of paper. After the drying out of the contour, we begin to paint the flowers with white paint.

“Fill” the leaves with a paint

We’ll think what the background might be. I choose – sky blue

In the contour, we draw the petals of our daisies.

Contour the stems, if necessary – the leaves.

After full drying, insert the work into the frame.
